Is Callingwood North a Good Fit for You?
Callingwood North tends to work well if you want:
- A condo or townhome at a lower price point than a detached home
- A YMCA, arena and shops close by
- An elementary school and a Catholic high school in the community
- Quick Whitemud Drive access
It may not be the right fit if you want a detached home with a big yard or a quiet street of single-family homes.
What I'd Watch Out For
- Condo health. Review the reserve fund study, financial statements, minutes and bylaws. Look for upcoming special assessments.
- Condo fees. Check what's included and how fees have changed over time.
- Rental rules. Some units are rented out. Check whether a building restricts rentals and how that affects you as an owner or investor.
- Whitemud noise. Units facing Whitemud Drive can hear steady traffic.
