Is Potter Greens a Good Fit for You?
Potter Greens tends to work well if you want:
- A 1990s detached home in a settled community
- Henday and Whitemud right next door
- West Edmonton Mall close by
- A major recreation centre being built nearby
It may not be the right fit if you want a brand-new home, a condo or river valley views.
What I'd Watch Out For
- Age of major systems. Most homes date from the 1990s. Ask about the age of the roof, furnace, hot water tank and windows.
- Freeway noise. Homes along Anthony Henday Drive and Whitemud Drive can hear steady traffic. Visit at rush hour.
- Shared walls. For duplexes and other attached homes, ask about soundproofing and how shared costs, like the roof, are handled.
- Original finishes. Some homes still have original kitchens and bathrooms. Price the updates you want before you make an offer.
