Living in Granville, Edmonton
Newer Homes Next to Whitemud Drive
Granville is a newer community in west Edmonton's Grange area, bounded by Whitemud Drive to the north, Winterburn Road (215 Street) to the west, 62 Avenue to the south and a utility corridor to the east, next to Glastonbury.
Most of Granville was built in the 2010s, so it offers newer homes with the established shops and services of the west end close by. It shares the Glastonbury Community League with its neighbour.

Is Granville a Good Fit for You?
Granville tends to work well if you want:
- A newer home without going to the city's outer edge
- Quick Whitemud and Henday access
- A choice of detached and attached homes
- Established shopping and services nearby
It may not be the right fit if you want ravine or river valley views, large lots or mature trees.
What I'd Watch Out For
- The utility corridor. The east edge of Granville borders a utility corridor. If you're near it, see what runs through it and how it affects views and resale.
- Whitemud and Winterburn noise. Homes on the north and west edges can hear more traffic.
- Lot sizes. Check yard size and parking on newer homes if that matters to you.
- Townhome documents. For condo townhomes, review the reserve fund, fees and bylaws.
- Builder differences. Several builders worked here, so compare finishing quality and warranty coverage remaining.
